A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before.

The Arcon mods are living the "two buttons and sweating" meme. On the one hand a bunch of them want to cheer on any cruelty Trump produces, on the other hand a few of them have enough sense to at least realize that this is a really, really bad look and confirms outsiders' opinions of them to an extent they cannot ignore. They have been pruning threads left and right and have even removed a few.

The evening before the murders Rob and Michele Reiner took their son Nick with them to a Christmas party at Conan O'Brien's residence. Guests at the party described Nick Reiner as "acting strange," and while there Nick reportedly got into a loud confrontation with his father.

Nick Reiner had been disruptive at a holiday party Saturday with his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, according to two people familiar with the situation, just hours before they were found dead in their Los Angeles home. Nick Reiner, who was arrested Sunday and later booked on suspicion of murder, made other guests uncomfortable with his behavior at the holiday party, which was hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, one person said. It's also been mentioned that early on Michele Singer Reiner worked as a photographer. One of her assignments was photographing donald trump for the cover of his ghost-written book, "Art of the Deal." trump seems to have forgotten that.

Also turns out the Obamas were personal friends of Rob and Michele Reiner. CBS News reports:
"We were supposed to be seeing them that night, last night, and we got the news," said Michelle Obama during an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Monday night. She told host Jimmy Kimmel that she and her husband had known the couple "for many, many years." She went on to describe them as "some of the most decent, courageous people you will ever want to know. They're not deranged or crazed," Michelle Obama said. CBS News article link

Nick Reiner is being held without bail in Los Angeles' Twin Towers Correctional Center. Reiner, who could potentially face the death penalty if convicted of the double homicide, is reportedly on suicide watch. But I don't think that's unusual in cases where a son or daughter is charged with killing their parents, especially when there is supposed to be a serious mental health issue. Reiner is scheduled to make his first court appearance today.

Conservative New York Times columnist Bret Stephens is a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, though he took his criticism a step further after the president insulted the late actor-director Rob Reiner.

In a Tuesday column, Stephens castigated the commander-in-chief and lamented having to write about Trump, who he called a "petty, hollow, squalid, overstuffed man." He argued that dedicating a column to him was necessary as Trump was, in his words, "the most loathsome human being ever to occupy the White House."

Nick Reiner made a brief appearance in court on Wednesday morning on charges of murdering his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner. Reiner did not enter a plea and agreed to postpone his arraignment to Jan. 7. He was shackled and wore a blue suicide-prevention vest. Variety article link

Nick Reiner’s attorney Alan Jackson told the assembled media after the hearing it was a “devastating tragedy” for the entire family, and that seems to be putting it mildly! Jackson also said there's “very complex and serious issues that are associated with this case.”

Bannon noted that Democratic strategist James Carville had celebrated Reiner as having "a bigger impact on America and American culture" than Kirk.
