Two people were found dead at a home in Los Angeles owned by director Rob Reiner in what the LAPD is calling an apparent homicide.

Firefighters were called to a Brentwood home Sunday afternoon, where they found the bodies of a 78-year-old man and 68-year-old woman. Authorities did not immediately identify them or the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement the Robbery Homicide Division responded to the home, but did not provide futher details on the investigation other than to say it was an "apparent homicide."

I wonder what the motive was. The son clearly had substance abuse and mental health issues, but when a kid kills his parents there is usually more to the story...such as tragic sad event.
 
Direct Rob Reiner and his wife were found stabbed to death in their LA home. Reiner was famous for directing movies such as "This is Spinal Tap", "The Princess Bride" and many others. Some sources are claiming his son is being eyed as the killer, but it seems preliminary.

IMDB identified Romy Reiner as a son, but apparently Romy is actually a daughter. People says Romy is the one who found her father and mother dead,

I had wondered if it might have been a political motivation, considering Reiner's outspoken views. But The POSOTUS made it so, regardless.
