Who do you trust for advice on electronics? The internet is full of websites that I'm pretty sure are mostly pay to play in terms of reviews.

If which.co.uk has a free review I'll check it out. More generally I'll look at a bunch of review sites and see which identify pros and cons and give reasonable caveats. Sometimes on Amazon I'll check the 3-4 star reviews and if the cons are all trivial or actually pros to me (eg no touchscreen, no AI, etc) I'll consider them. Sorry it's not more help.

How about Choice magazine? They are on-line and give good reviews.
Strange. In Australia it reviews products. For example it found that many sunscreens do not work as advertised. These sunscreens were then pulled from the market. In other countries Choice means other things.

Maybe you could use my link here https://www.choice.com.au/ But you need a subscription to see much. I have a subscription.

The subscription is exceptionally good value for money, but if you are only interested in reviews of one class of device, buying articles one at a time may suit you better.
