From my viewpoint, I do see an "uncaring arrogant snot" in this affair, and it isn't Brian Thompson. It's the man who's picking up the paycheck for scaring kids.

Very true. I just finished watching tonight's episode of Psychic Kids. Coffey is just horrible. He is like a wicked scout master, leading the kids into a never ending ghost story where they spend all their time scaring the bejesus out of themselves.

That's the issue I have with the guy. At first, even I had to say I was taken in by the nice guy approach - Chips seems like an amiable chap at first glace. Then, as with all good salesmen with only ice to sell, the other side comes out and the veneer melts away .

He's dragging little folk into places that have reputations for being haunted, filling them full of ghost tales and pushing their imaginations into overdrive by all the hype he spills as he turns out the lights.

Not cool - I wish that guy would catch a clue.

Isn't he forcing these children to believe what he does? Children are easily persuaded to believe something. If it's not his job to convince why is he reinforcing these children's delusions. What a bleeping liar he is.

I agree! I just saw this show today off of netflix. I am so shocked it has made it 3 seasons

I'm thoroughly disgusted that this show is in it's third season, but I can't say I'm surprised. Vulnerable and confused children being psychologically abused for our viewing pleasure... a can't-miss ratings grabber indeed.

What I don't expect to see this season are any follow-ups on their victims from their previous seasons... as I'm sure these kids are complete basket cases after having having been worked over by Doctor Nutjob and Mister Creepy.

They like to end each episode on a "This child is cleansed, and will live happily ever after" note... but I'm sure the reality is much more "messy". I can't imagine these poor kids stand much of a chance after they've been put through the looney ringer that is Psychic Kids.

We are getting this now in the uk, the episode I caught by accident was made in 2009, and has Chris Fleming at the helm. They were with a young boy and he was upset because he said his dad didnt believe him. Chris Fleming went into a real overacted teary performance on how his own dad din't support him. Put the kids dad in a tight spot. Real passive aggressive! Crocodile tears and shameful!

I couldn't agree more. What kind of people would exploit their children in that way?? Oh wait.... I guess people who want to be on tv and get attention are willing to exploit their children.

I wonder if they aren't pretty similar to the parents who push their kids in sports or cheerleading or various other "I'll benefit from your popularity" parent schemes. At least this one stands a chance of making them some money (I assume).
