Meh, it's performative art, filing a bill that has little to no hope of passing through congress. See also the one about turning June 14 into a trump-worshipping day.

Why bother Congress with a bill if, supposedly, Trump can just change it via EO, according to Trumpers ?

That means everyone on Earth of any age, technically speaking.

Hey, maybe that's the solution to making sure abortions are legal everywhere.

Just pass a law making "stealing nutrients from a mother via placenta" to be a federal crime, where the punishment is the death penalty.

I do, it's full on nazism.
 
I don't really know where to put this, but I was wondering about the commonly believed "the governmnet is not working" idea. This is a big part of the GOP/2025 plan. Convince the public that government is terrrible at doing things that actually need to be done (as opposed to saving a species of fish, which is not an idea voters quite understand). It usually begins with cutting down funding for the thing. This time around it just began with Musk cutting all the staff.

it turns out none of these moves have curbed any spending. we've effectively lost a lot of these programs and departments, and lots of normal people lost their jobs, but somehow the deficit is even bigger than it was.

now, who doesn't feel a little ripped off by that ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ sleazebag musk?
