What's the evidence against Cillia, or is she prosecuted for being married?
I've wondered about that as well. But then she's his property, isn't she, so she rightfully belongs toWhat's the evidence against Cillia, or is she prosecuted for being married?
The indictment lists several people including Cilia as co-conspirators, so it's by association. The only evidence specifically alleged against Cilia is that she attended a meeting where others allegedly made corrupt deals. The rest is literally just "she was married to Maduro."It's either that, or oil by association.

I assume that the hope is to coerce her into providing evidence against her husband. There will be plea deals, done with trump appointed prosecutors approved by Trump appointed judges. I wonder if they will get more than public defenders to represent them given they will have no accessible assets in the US.The indictment lists several people including Cilia as co-conspirators, so it's by association.
