Actually, Norm, there's pretty good evidence that the middle class is getting squeezed. But it's off topic in this wacky thread but if you want to pursue the subject, start a new thread and I'll sure many of us will participate.

SezMe, I will have to pass on your suggestion for a thread, as I am living in relatively comfortable retirement in Australia, and have no background to discuss this subject either way as to how the USA Middle Class are being screwed.

As a citizen of a nation that has had free health care for decades, it amuses me no end that it is seen as an underhand method of introducing a Soviet style state.

God forbid that poor people should be healthy.
