Missing College Student

News conference in one hour because of substantial development in case...

Ok...what SMART criminal?

OJ would probably respond to that "A free cimininal is a smart criminal."

Props to the person that said "What is this, an old episode of Batman?" That made me laugh out loud.

She admitted she was not abducted and wanted to be "alone." Now she's saying again that she was abducted but from a different area. The police don't believe her.

she should have to pay for part of the search...

little brat...I hope the police charge her

She might be suffering mental illness. We don't know. If so, she's going to need help and it would be nice if her community supported her and her parents. She has to cop to the truth first though. The lady that called 911 found her laying in the field. She asked her what she was doing there and she said she liked to see the geese.
What pisses me off is that people might be less likely to act when people are missing because of this. I am thinking of Dru's parents ( a woman who was murdered from Minnesota recently) and Patty Wetterling. They are probably a little bit pissed right now.

I just listened to the police news conference. Just reading between the lines, it sounds like this kid needs a psychologist.

The last time a missing kid ended up being found in Madison, he came right out and said that he hadn't been abducted. But he was hesitant to say why he went to Madison without telling anyone. Let's just say that he had some intimately personal issues that were giving him trouble.

Nobody wants intimately personal stuff to be publicized in the media, so it is understandable that Audrey might not be forthcoming about whatever personal problems she might have. That doesn't excuse her dishonesty with law enforcement, of course.

I can honestly say that right from the start, I KNEW something didn't add up about this case. Don't ask me how, I just knew that something wasn't right, and that she'd turn out to be a big liar.

I stand corrected, Yes if she if suffering for a bon a fide mental illness this should not be held against her.

I spent several years on a search team. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are. if the police request a civillian team we went. it didn;t matter to us if it was a search, body recovery or wild goose chase.

Geez, some of you really need to check out Court Tv's board especially open court. Now some are saying she might have Multiple Personality Disorder. I said a lot of people are skeptical about it and one told me to "tell it to Sybil." I'm Denise 36 over there. Had to register and post about this case.

Gee, what a shock. Could it be because of your misogynistic mindset which sees all women as whores and liars?
