Nothing. I'm kinda waiting. I figure Randi's busy and hasn't gotten to approving the protocol yet.

But, I'm making this post while a red-faced quarter-Korean drunk.

I don't want to bump the other thread, but has anyone followed the aftermath from Wellfed in any of the audio forums? I haven't, but was wondering how he was trying to skew the result of his waffling.

OK. I had to resubmit it. We seemed to have gotten confused possibly on both ends, but KRAMER and Randi are both a bunch of... of... mogglebuttling wegrits.

After all you went through with this whole thing, it's the least that Mr Randi could offer you in the way of "thanks" --- and please don't say you'll wait after the prelim is passed to get involved with the Final Test of the GSIC. That really might not happen, you know!

Typically, where applicable, preliminaries are 1000+:1 against chance.

I did wonder why it hadn’t been mentioned (well I did mention it in one thread but I mean officially mentioned). I think the baseline test is one the most important safeguards the JREF can introduce (I suppose it is not possible for al challenges?) – it not only ensure the protocol will work but also that there is no validity to the after-the-fact excuse of “couldn’t do it under the test conditions”.

Randi and the JREF are well aware of what is at the heart of your argument. Therefore as part of all the preliminary tests (that I have read about) the applicant must first of all prove they can do what they say they can do under the test conditions, but “unblinded”. For example typically with dowsing the initial test is done with the applicant being able to see (or otherwise know) where the substance being dowsed for is located. The applicant then verifies that under the test conditions they can do what they say they can do. Only then is the “blinding” introduced.

I'm a "controlled" drinker. There's a family history so I drink very rarely and not a lot. That night was the most I'd ever drank and I wasn't that drunk. I chalk it up to the 30lbs or so I gained since moving.

I have finals, then jury duty right afterwards and I say we do this test ASAP after that. Why? Because there's no good reason not to after that.

I have to work on my personal statement for my transfer app? I can do that whenever. I might be taking an online class? It's an online class that I've written a few potential papers for. I can do those whenever.

Between the end of my jury duty and the end of August I only have work. After that, I only have school. The only thing that can get in the way is an, "Oh, love? We're going to the desert this weekend," on a Thursday but I can get out of most of those.

All other weekends after mid-June are a go.

I'd follow that up with a "LEEEEEEEEEERRROYYYYYYYYYY JENKINS" but none of you would get it.
