GSIC AUDIO

I happened to notice that too. The phenomenon is extraordinary! Extraordinary, I tell you!

Me neither. (tries to hum a light and airy tune but fails. Hums the ominous 'Dies Irae' theme instead and finds it oddly appropriate.)

Um, since I'm one of the guilty parties (or is it partays? :D ), I'll confess that I'm really here for the dogpile on, um, scientific cross examination of Dr. MAS' theory of homeopathy. I got lost, took a left at Albuquerque and ended up here. I blame the wascally wabbit!

I actually held out (a very faint) hope that Mr. Anda would grow up and Just Do It. Now that he has, effectively, flipped us the bird, I guess I need to work up the stamina to deal with Kumar . . .

By the way, to complete the total OT trifecta, anyone want to bet that Dr. MAS is really just a poor Pakistani channelling the disgruntled spirit of Kumar's pet coffee maker? :D :p

He so was.

While I'm posting, let me make sure I've done everything so far.

Submitted an application. Check.
Come up with a protocol after some wrangling. Check.
Insulted Kramer and the JREF.
Submitted protocol. Check.

Doh!

Dear KRAMER,

You so liah.

Also, YOUR MOM.

And Randi, to you I also say, YOUR MOM.

(What? That makes as much sense as all the other insults, right?)

Well. Happy Mothers Day to YOU, TOO! ;) :D

Okay, after making noises about lawsuits and claiming the JREF challenge is a fraud, Wellfed is now officially on the JREF ignore list.

So now can we get back to the GSIC-related challenge that's still alive, i.e., LostAngeles's challenge? What's the status, folks?

As the British Member of Parliament allegedly once observed, "Gentlemen, I think we all know the difference between a live horse and a dead one; pray, can we stop beating the latter?"

I've fired off a two e-mails to Jim Underdown of CFI-West, one to make initial contact and the other to inform him of the fact that a Sunday was just ruled out for testing, although it's a very close Sunday and probably wasn't in the running anyway. KRAMER and someone who's volunteered to help have been CC'ed on both.

We're waiting on Randi's acceptance of the protocol and I presume once we've finished that completely, there'll be more e-mails flying back and forth.

I've already done the required insulting of KRAMER and Randi, if you see above your post.

I'll confess I've wanted to join in on the Anda threads and I haven't. It's probably best that on this matter, I maintain the illusion of maturity and proffessionalism.

I'll continue to act like a moron everywhere else, so don't feel too dissapointed!

OK, so my last bit of joking aside, I have every intention of treating this as "fun." Because, well, I think experiments can be and going for a million bucks should definitely be and not a hand-wringing, mud-throwing mess.

And unless I've missed anything, I think that's pretty much where we stand.

What??? You and KRAMER were able to agree on a protocol in two weeks??? How did you get him to agree to all the conditions Wellfed demanded (you know - able to see the CD player, identical test for final test as for preliminary, etc.) but couldn't get KRAMER to agree to in almost two months????

Amazing!!! This in itself qualifies as a paranormal event!!!

I think if you go back to the beginning, Kramer was ok with some of the initial proto-protocols. (Ooh. I like that word. "proto-protocols." Kinda... fun to say, even mentally.)

Another woo!

Weekends are a no go huh?

Winny :D

What is the status of your GSIC order?

And unless I've missed anything, I think that's pretty much where we stand.

Have you ordered a GSIC-30 yet?

I still want to see you holding the test chip.
Placing ulterior motives aside, it is the one single event that can lend a sense of "this is actually happening" to the JREF Challenge. I understand you wish to maintain a sense of anonymity, but it would mean a lot to everyone, to actually see a JREF Applicant in the process.

FWIW.

Nothing is being ordered until Randi gives his approval.

Eh, anonyminity's already blown. So it goes.

I agree LoztAngles has a very nice name.

...Should we just skip to being suspended for the shattering and then grinding into a very fine powder of rule 8? :D

Nope. You have to post the obligatory hundreds of denials before reaching the point of openly lying about the truth that everyone else can see.

Sorry, no shortcuts. Hey, nobody said it would be easy! :D
