PER the Chief Prosecutor's request for Indictment, the two persons named by San Diego Citizens Grand Jury as showing probable cause for further investigation on the Charge of 'Conspiracy to Commit Mass Murder', are:
  • RUDOLPH GIULIANII, Mayor of New York City on 9/11/01
  • JEROME HAUER, Managing Director of Kroll, Inc. and Senior Adviser to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services for National Security and Emergency Management on 9/11/01; former Director of Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management (1996-2000).

With the addition of the San Diego "Citizens" Grand Jury to the "Citizens" Investigation Team, the term "citizen" is well on it's way to being "truth"ed!

Could someone explain the implications of this to someone, like me, unfamiliar with the US legal system?

Not a dang thing, SLOB. Its as if a bunch of your neigbors decided Denmark needed to answer for war crimes, so they built a courthouse out of bark, and played 'courtroom drama' like 4th graders. Student councils in High Schools have more power than these guys.
 
I heard that last month they indicted the San Diego Chicken.

Remember back in grade 6 or so when, to learn the justice system and how it works, the teacher would suggest a mock trial...

The same thing, but, believe it or not, these are, in body at least, ADULTS.

:confused: Wow. I REALLY don't get it. Perhaps they just did this so people like Alex Jones can report "Giuliani was Indicted!". Other than that, I really can't see any apparent benefit to them doing this.

I guess if it was a REAL trial, they would have to present REAL evidence, so they're left to resorting to just playing pretend.
 
perhaps we should convene a "Skeptics grand Jury" and indict troofers for "crimes against reality and common sense".

I for one would actually like to see the truth group present their evidence in a trial. Problem is that there is no evidence to back their fantasies.

Basically. The "citizen's court" thing is a common tactic of fringe loonies. When no one else will take them seriously, they love to sit around and make their own little courts and pass their own little meaningless judgments. I suppose it's a theatrical way to rally people to the cause. I don't think it's illegal, unless you start issuing bogus financial instruments or harassing government officials.

For an extreme example of this phenomenon, Google the name "Paul Andrew Mitchell."
