There’s a lot of noise from people who couldn’t find Venezuela on a map yesterday.

This is clearly a fast-moving and extremely serious situation. I am not going to rush to judgement or speculate on incomplete reports.

I’m more interested in what Venezuelans risking their lives for democracy have to say.

The UK’s responsibility is to understand the facts, assess where our national interest lies and consider the consequences for Venezuela’s people and for regional and global stability.

It is not for us to second guess from afar the motives and evidence behind these events. Let’s hear what President Trump has to say shortly. I will also be watching closely what is said by Venezuela’s democratic opposition

Apparently if Donald wants to come in and take corrupt, Britain hating, muslim lover and child trafficker Keir Starmer out of office, I’m sure he will get the full backing off all the real British Patriots.

The fundamental issue Starmer or any alternate PM, has is that arguably the most powerful nation on Earth and our most important ally is being controlled by a vindictive, senile, egotist, surrounded by people only to happy to turn his ravings into reality and destroy their nation in the process.

Well Kemi it doesn't matter what they say since Trump has announced the USA intends to run the country and steal its oil, sorry to pay reparations for the damage they've done to the USA.

Our PM knew nothing about President Trumps plans to strike Venezuela. He has confirmed this in a recent interview.

That tells you everything you need to know about USAs attitude towards our PM and the UK.

Quite frankly, it’s embarrassing.

The UK has long supported a transition of power in Venezuela. We regarded Maduro as an illegitimate President and we shed no tears about the end of his regime.

I reiterated my support for international law this morning. The UK government will discuss the evolving situation with US counterparts in the days ahead as we seek a safe and peaceful transition to a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Venezuelan people

I do think we need to get away from this framing. Trump isn't controlling anything, he's the senile front man for a vicious racist kleptocracy that is going to ◊◊◊◊ us all.

Or it means we're being treated exactly the same way as every other country. Is there any evidence that anyone else was informed ahead of the invasion and kidnap?
