Boris has put out a video encouraging young people to do military service in the new 'citizens army'

That would be the new 'citizens army' that doesn't actually exist yet, and which both Rish! and the MoD has described as being hypothetical at best?

"You will fight them on the beaches... well, er, no, I'm not going to be fighting on any bloody beaches..."

Surely Boris must have some children of fighting age that he'd be happy to send into the trenches as an example.

Michelle Mone’s former lawyer says he wants apology for ‘damage to reputation’

She wasn't advised to lie to the media, apparently, she does that all by herself

It's come to a pretty pass when a lawyer finds himself being in a position of being able to accuse others of lying.

Issuing all those SLAPP orders on the mass media to shut down any discussion of Barrowman's and Mone's crooked dealings rushing to the aid of the nation in its hour of need when struck by Covid does not in any way damage the lawyer's reputation in the eyes of the public on discovering the scam er, the great entrepreneural acumen of Barrenness Bra.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, will this lawyer's reputation ever recover, as if he would ever advise her to flat out lie.

In the Grauniad:
Four Rwandans were granted refugee status in the UK over “well-founded” fears of persecution at the same time as the government was arguing in court and parliament that the east African country was a safe place to send asylum seekers.

An investigation by the Observer and the campaign group Led by Donkeys reveals for the first time details of Home Office decisions on Rwandans who have been given asylum in the past four months, claiming they were at risk from the regime.

The documents raise fresh questions over prime minister Rishi Sunak’s claim that Rwanda is “unequivocally” safe for asylum seekers.

Rees-Mogg on his show claiming that the 'lax attitude' to cannabis is the reason for crime and all our social ills.
Meanwhile, on the sane side of the Irish Sea (well in the south) were planning decriminalisation for personal use. A measure that the populace and cabinet both support.

Apparently Rishi fasts for 36 hours at the start of the week.

Thousands of people are doing the same so they can pay bills or feed their kids.

It's easy when you know you have a cupboard full of food.

85,000 diagnosed cases of Scurvy, Rickets & Malnutrition since Fasting Sunak became PM (probably 3 times that undiagnosed)

What is it with tories and fiscal irresponsibility? First Boris Johnson complains that his salary was chicken feed, and now it turns out George Freeman resigned as minister because his annual salary of £120,000 was insufficient to cover a £2000/month mortgage.

Quite frankly, any Tory minister that didn't jump on the PPE fast track programme and set themselves up for life, doesn't deserve the job.

I've forgotten what fringe right wing party Laurence Fox has stood for, but his approach to losing a libel case seems Ill-advised.

Freeman said "We're in danger of making politics something only hedge fund donors, young spin doctors and failed trade unionists can afford to do."
