Satyre is expected to exaggerate things but I always wondered if committed art is more efficient when its messages are more subtle.

Maybe I shouldn't have made an English section. It gets me in trouble. I can explain the problem of strip #37, maybe losing the little fun it has. The character is Southamerican, like myself, and is chatting with a friend from Spain. Normally Spanish speakers will catch that from the subtle differences in language. The Spaniard girl asks Lucrecia whether she has a computer at home. In Spain the word for computer is 'ordenador' (as opposed to computadora or computador here). Right after being given an order by her boss, Lucrecia replies taking a different meaning for 'ordenador': one who gives orders ('fortunately the ordenador is only in the office'). It is incorrect to take that meaning for the word, but it is OK if your intention is to play with words.
No chance to translate that one. Unless changing it all to something else.

I take it a "Blue Prince" is like "Prince Charming"? I find these kind of linguistic idiosyncrasies fascinating- English being as rife with them as it is. I recently corresponded with a Dutch-speaking Belgian, and she showed me a few in that language.

Oops. I hadn't noticed that was another translation problem.
Exactly, the Blue Prince (PrÃ_ncipe Azul) is the perfect guy that fairytale princesses long for. I think it's from a specific fairytale, Cinderella perhaps?

A better translation would be "white knight" in English to preserve the color word play, and be more recognizable.

Last line could be made "equal-oppurtunity chromatist"... "equal oppurtunity" being a phrase we use in US to allay fears of any racism... or you could make it "For this one the color doesn't matter", poking fun at the fact the "color" is the stereotypical deciding factor for less-than-intelligent females in a buying decision.

Man, I could go on and on... linguistics and culture are so much fun!

Sai Baba! I found that face so easy to draw that I thought it was evident. Maybe he's fatter than that!
