Must be a really crap browser if you have to add all these optional "plug-ins" to gain the basic functionality built into IE!
Or click "Board Home" or something. Yes, that's quite annoying; IE doesn't allow the popup. I wonder why Firefox does? And I also wonder why advertisers think that sort of thing will impress potential customers.
I just tried NoScript, and while it certainly prevented the popup it also made sure I had to type this reply three times after losing it twice for reasons unclear. So I'm not impressed with that either![]()

built into IE after copying them from other browsers.
...snip...
I have Adblock Plus as a plugin
IMHO, Firefox only has two things going for it: speed and a spell-checker. Other than that, it stinks. So for the last month or so I've been using Firefox, since so many people say it's the shiznit.
I'm not impressed.
It does a terrible job of blocking popups, and it lets in all kinds of malware. My last anti-virus scan found 92 infections! Almost all tracking cookies, but still... I never had more than 2 or 3 infections using the latest version of IE.
And to top it all off, I am having shutdown problems (XP pro) that I have never had before and started the day I installed Firefox.
It does have a spell checker though, so it's got that going for it. but other than that, why the hell do people love Firefox so much? I'm on the verge of uninstalling it.
Anyone else have these issues?

Me too. It is not infallible, apparently. Or perhaps it's less set-up than yours is?

I'm an Opera buff.
Well, says Casale Media, “The technologies we use to deliver, target, and optimize your campaigns go far beyond established norms and standards for performance.”
Well, we’d agree with that.
The ATS site in general seems to be filled with all kinds of shady scripts. Quite hilarious if you think about the paranoid tendencies of much of the readers. Why don't you start a thread about it there, WildCat? Should be fun.
casalemedia.com is in my blockfile now.
I'm not registered there, I just read select threads there. Why don't you start a thread about it there, WildCat? Should be fun.
