so we can agree, that Chavez did indeed pass a law that affected the General populace, and is now not a law, because it is affecting the general populace and he overstepped his powers with that decree, and no decree is in power that is apllying to the general populace?

He passed a decree without it going to the NA. It applied to the entire population of the country. There was outcry by lots if people including human rights rgoups. he then tried to change it but leave it in place but was then forced to rescind it in the face of public outcry. He did not rescind it bacause it affected the general populace. I am glad you can see you were wrong and that you had to move the goalposts to try and save face.


Some of his other decrees like the land reform also apply to members of the general populace.

the NA gave him the power to pass decrees without consultation of the NA.....

whats your point here?

so we agree he passed one law that applyed to the general populace but it is not law now.

ah you only had problems with those 2 laws then, one that is not law and the other that affects landowners.

Putting on a blindfold, sticking your fingers in your ears, and humming "I can't hear you" is not debunking.

It is quite clear that Chavez was given the power to make law by decree, whereas no US President has ever had such power.

Don't hold your breath waiting for someone to show up and take your side.
