Dylan Avery

"Avery is currently working with Wes Davis, a teacher, musician and self-proclaimed coffee addict, on a film about a 21 day project to stop drinking coffee and caffeine products"

Sounds about right for a man of his talent.

According to 911Kongen's interview with him at ground zero last year he's focusing on 'why the attacks wern't prevented' rather than 'inside job'.

Avery doesn't believe 9/11 was an inside job anymore. So this is his new angle. I don't know if anything has come of it.

What does Avery think of 9/11 conspiracy theories now? He thinks that while orchestrating the attacks was beyond the scope of the Bush administration, there was "considerable foreknowledge" within the government so that it should have been able to prevent them. Why it did not is his new focus. "Where I am now is, I've whittled it down to a very basic statement that I think a lot of people can agree on: There was a cover-up of some kind," Avery says. "The only question is what they were covering up, how far [up] it goes, how deep it runs, and how many asses would be on the line if the truth actually came out."

according to wikipedia:

ETA: BAH! beaten to the punch!

Ah, but you included the "citation needed". For all we know Avery is actually just stoned-up somewhere, drinking coffee with Wes and discussing hip-hop trends :D

So he's now cutting it back toward a LIHOP or even,,(aghast) simply miscommunication, incompetence and CYA!!!

Exactly! You see (twirls moustache, laughs sinisterly) THEY got to him!

It was only a matter of time, given his importance.

;)

As someone who recently gave up caffeine, I can't imagine how a documentary about someone being cranky and having a headache for a couple days would be the slightest bit interesting.

Ohhhh, Section Q (California branch) got to him and convinced him that he change his mind could be beneficial to his bank account not to mention that not doing so might be bad for the people he cares about.
I see that Uncle Fetzer has tried to weasel his way around his Section Q proposal, and is only publically attacking PfT. Fetzer's Great Aunt may suffer a bungee jumping accident soon.:)

Avery is just continuing the trend of the movies he makes.

No. I don't believe any truther ever did, which explains why they all are fixated on "pull it". Can a brutha get some Stewart over here!
You earned it, sir.

Though I just read a thread about how Luke and his gf took all the money from WAC or something...I also heard Craig Ranke talking about his gf to John Bursill(?) in a debate of his. But not Avery, eh?

I doubt he ever did. He was smart enough to realize that turning his fictional little film into a conspiracy theory could result in fame and fortune. Sort of like how James Frey re-released his fictional novel as an autobiography and ended up on Oprah.

I agree Steve, in fact this had crossed my mind several times in the past (prior to the slate interview) that Dylan never entirely or at all believed 9/11 was an inside job.

I first got the idea from watching the documentary BBC The Third Tower. They interview Dylan over the Loose Change claim that BBC reported building 7 collapsing 30 minutes before it did. They asked Dylan if he thinks there is anything suspicious about that; to which he replied "Not really, I didn't even want to put that in there in the first place, but ya know, I'm not the only one on the team". Got me thinking 'I wonder what other things Dylan didn't want to put in there.

Seems now he's just distancing himself from the rest of the truthers.. Meanwhile his ex-sidekick Bermas is still spreading lies at ground zero (did you see 911Kongen's vid where Jason is saying how the Seal Team 6 that killed Bin Laden died in a helicopter accident? lol oh my god why can he not help but tell bull **** to people?!).

Similar to Dylan's fading view of 9/11, a friend of mine said he ran into Alex Jones in downtown Austin this week and he asked him a few questions about 9/11. Jones answered them, but responded with "if you repeat something enough, people will believe it. Oldest trick in the book" and then proceeded to pull out his wallet and quickly show it to my friend.

"if you repeat something enough, people will believe it. Oldest trick in the book"

Is he referring to the NWO repeating the official story until it gets believed? Or him constantly repeating his crap on air?
