So in theory you could have ten cardboard boxes, each containing either nothing, broken bottles or whole bottles and you could correctly ascertain in which boxes the intact bottles were located (using only dowsing rods held over the boxes)?

Is that correct?
 
Archaeologists the world over cringe in horror at the looting of these bottles. Deprived of their context, they're worthless.

I'm late to this thread. I have no idea if I am smarter than you or if you or smarter than me. I am, however, very interested in controlled tests. In fact, studying these types of controlled tests is a bit of a hobby with me.

Are you willing to take such a test? Is is a rather large step. Folks on this board sometimes suggest that people who make claims test themselves before setting up a more rigorous test with skeptics present. We can easily describe how you can test yourself if you are interested.
 
I went dowsing once and was able to dig up 26 corpses. I got so good at it they have now banned me from that particular graveyard. They are just jelous.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly am not "scared of the unknown", nor am I "blind" to reality. If dowsing were real and effective, it would simply be another tool human beings could use to improve ourselves and our condition. As it stands, your claim that dowsing works is unsubstantiated. Provide evidence that it works, and I'll be among the first to congratulate you, and to accept it as a real and verified phenomenon.
 
Protocol i will dowse for bottle's at a location of my choice until i find 10 unbroken bottle's

Neither. People here generally don't give dowsers a hard time, because they are for the most part sincere nice people, but this guy is posturing. I hope he sets up a test. Could get himself a cool million.

I live Mass. so you can sent out the goon squad for me and what ever test you want me to do!! You guy's set it up what style of test you want me to do ok
 
The bottom line of any test with dowers, (and many scientifically test have been done before with them), is that no matter how much they agree to the conditions before the test and even if they say everything is OK with the test, is that after they fail the test, and they always fail, they will then come up with something, anything, that proves to them and only them that the that the test was flawed. It will never, ever, be that dowsing doesn't work, it will always be the test.

Goon squad? The JREF isn't Scooby Doo. They don't run around the country looking to disprove silly claims.

The MDC is an opportunity for you to verify your claim. If you can prove it, you get a million dollars.

All you need to do is design a fair test, one that doesn't allow cheating from either side. Someone has already offered a simple example.

Alternately, you can just skip ahead to the "Just kidding! U guise fell for it. Lulz!!!!" stage.

I dont need the money to prove my skill!! I would do it for free and i have found lost cellarhole's and asked spirt's from the past for help find lost object's missing.I guess i through you skeptic's for loop now it's time you to jump through

So, instead of agreeing to a test protocol that has been proposed, oh... three times now, I think... you are making a new claim?

Why are you dodging a real test?
