Did We Kill Michael Jackson?

Unless the child abuse is factually correct, I don't see a problem with someone who has a mind of a ten year old kid. That's no crime, nor is it anything bad if no one is harmed.

Do you know many ten year olds? They're savage beasts. Kids are frequently cruel and utterly thoughtless. Not understanding the consequences of your actions leads to just as bad results as actively choosing to be wicked.

Someone with the mind of a ten year old, but with nobody keeping them in check, and with ridiculous sums of money and worldwide fame that enables them to do all sorts of things most people could never do....it's a recipe for disaster.

My point was that a ten year old kids mind is almost innocent. If that was correct concerning MJ, that's as innocent as well. So literally sleeping with other "like-minded" persons in a single bed isn't a crime nor a sexual abuse. It rather seems to be the general adult mind that thinks that this is child-abuse because, and that's the point: Their minds are NOT child-mindend at all whatsoever.

You could not be more wrong.
Bill Cosby said it best;People who talk about the innocence of childhood have
A.Forgotten all the stuff they did as a child and
B.Have never had to live with one as an adult.

People who really study the cases say he was not a child molester.

MONTREAL - When Montreal-born author Ian Halperin first set out to write the definitive Michael Jackson biography, his intention was to nail the pop icon to the wall.
It was 2005 and Jackson had just been acquitted of a second charge of child molestation.
By the time Halperin, 44, finished the book, and long before Jackson died two weeks ago, his opinion of the troubled artist had undergone a 180-degree shift.
"I interviewed all kinds of people connected to the case and kids who stayed at NeverLand, and my final conclusion today is that he is 100 per cent not a child molester," Halperin said in an exclusive interview with The Gazette this week.
Rather it was Jackson's childlike attitude toward both his business dealings and his personal life that were his undoing, Halperin said.

Ooh! A biographer! When a crime is committed, don't bother with mere police or trained detectives! Send for the biographers.

I just read the stuff that The Smoking Gun has just put out. I did not see what the prosicution had in the run up to the first (1993) case against Jackson until now. Apparently when Jackson was being interviewed by Diane Sawyer and said that the police had searched everywhere and had found "Nothing... nothing... nothing..." he was lying...lying...lying. That is, if The Smoking Gun is to be believed.

How do you explain that he was such a monster and yet at the same time so adored? Are demons real after all?

Dude who cares? He so totally copied REO Speedwagon.

I did a google on this and so far found nothing. What is this about?

Michael's dead. History. Get over it and get on with your own lives.

My guess is that the MJ empire and fandom was already huge before all the 1993 hoopla. Off the wall, Thriller, Bad and Dangerous albums all came out by then. In addition he appeared to have a sensitive sweet personality, gave to all those charities and sang about healing the world. The hardcore fans don't want to believe he was a mere human who could have done something wrong. If he ever did...hey it was all Joe's fault and the fame got to his head!!

:p

Hope you like that logic. No matter what he should've gone to therapy and gotten help but he had a billion dollars so that was canceled out.

MJ was a spoiled kid who never grew up. He always got his way and that's what killed him. He hired and fired doctors based on what they would do for him and not how good they were.

It tells me that I hope I never get put on trial for anything, for fear jurors may be like you. You seem to incline toward believing whatever viewpoint you most recently heard. Although doesn't the defense usually speak last? In which case I might want you on my jury after all.

He did quite a mean moonwalk across Europe but ultimately, his hair caught fire as well.

If the coroner was a woman, the only thing I can say with certainty, is that she didn't have a penis.
Mister Moto is looking for an assistant, but I chuckled. Send in that resume!
Uhm, no. Religion. By the way: Was Michael Jackson a Bible-Belt-Jesus-Nut-Kinda-Guy?
Jehovah's Witness raised, there were reports that when he moved to Bahrain he became, or was going to become, a Muslim. Unclear.

The same way I explain religion, history, and politics!

People are stupid.
-1, since you channeled Terry Goodkind.
No. He was caught between the Charybdis of the Jehovah's Witness and the Scylla of Pop.

Slingblade gets honorable mention. I didn't start MQing until late in the thread, which TM's wit incited me to do.

TM, wins this thread, but there have been many fine contributions.

Well played, all. (Oh, the circumcised face got me to chortle IRL.)

Bill,

Could you PM us for each of your ultimate decision shifts? I'm getting wind burn from the constant shifting of your moral weather vane.

So now an article in a paper that cites a biographer is the ultimate authority? How's that holding up? It's been a couple of days, after all, and maybe you've seen something else to sway your very swayable opinion?

Oh, and just in case anyone needs to know, BGNE News Agency is a Bulgarian company trying desperately to get their crap picked up by anyone who will pick it up. (I'm going to imagine that most Bulgarians probably speak Bulgarish[don't make me insert a smiley please] and all their press releases and links seem to be in English.) I always prefer unbiased sources like Xinhua, myself.

MJ's doctor, Conrad Murray, office searched

I don't know who, if anyone killed Michael Jackson, but the doctor who supposedly performed CPR on Michael, and was with him at the house, well, his Houston, Texas office is being searched.

Police search Texas office of Jackson's last doctor

Here are some other articles to read about MJ on showbiz411.com

Feds Raid Dr. Conrad Murray's Office

Does anyone know why it took almost a month before a search warrant was finally issued for Dr. Conrad Murray's office(s)?

Who's Michael Jackson? Did something happen?

A music legend with problems, go figure. He only sold about 750 million albums and gave the most amount to charities. No biggie, I can do that. Don't want to be known for other things he apparently did though. :D
