Did Jesus Exist?

Apparently you are not interested in politeness either since you choose to ignore those parts of post to which you cannot respond with a facile question or vaguely connected aphorism.

Apparently you are not interested in honesty since you have repeatedly made assertions throughout this thread which can only be seen as claims to knowledge.
Just because I may have God in my veins, so to speak -- or not -- does that mean I should go around giving everyone a blood sample? There's only so much to go around I'm afraid ...

Then I will ask again. Why come here? What do you hope to gain? You by your won admission are not interested in knowledge and live only by blind faith in what you want to be true and that is fine. But what is your reason to be here?

In this post you again are saying you believe God is fact but will not try to prove it, because you can not yet you demand it is truth and everyone here should simply believe it because you do and say it is truth.

You become so angry because people here will not simply blindly follow what you say and believe just because you do.

WHY come to a skeptic site?

Why not talk at a site with like minded people?

What I believe for what little it is worth, you want to preach, you need to be validated, your beliefs validated.

Iacchus may I ask.
If you were very ill and a man walked up to you with a bottle of fluid and told you it would cure you. Would you simply say “OK I will swallow it” even though when you asked him for proof it works he said. “ I believe it and don’t need any stinking facts and don’t care if the testing of the fluid says it is poison, just swallow it”.

Would you really take it just because you wanted to believe it would “save you”??

This thing about blind faith is totally your assertion by the way and, unless you can understand that, there really isn't much else to discuss.

Angry? I just don't like to be pricked by your -- or anyone else's for that matter -- "needling" all the time. Like I said above, there's only so much (blood) to go around.

WHY come to a skeptic site?
Why not?

Why not talk at a site with like minded people?
Oh, and I thought I had a unique perspective all this time? Shame on me! :D

What I believe for what little it is worth, you want to preach, you need to be validated, your beliefs validated.
Well, it is possible that I may have nothing better to do. But, what exactly are you doing here then? Or, is that none of my business? Apparently it is though, otherwise you wouldn't have made my business yours.

Allow me to use your own post as a retort.

1-
I am not interested in knowledge.
2-
The only way you can prove it, is if God were in your veins.

If it was more then blind faith you would be more then happy to offer proof, facts or at least logical conclusion.

The only way you can prove it, is if God were in your veins.

I have blood and all the components that make up blood in my veins nothing more, that is all you have in your blood also.

I can list if you like all the components found in blood if you like, none will be God.

Angry? I just don't like to be pricked by your -- or anyone else's for that matter -- "needling" all the time. Like I said above, there's only so much (blood) to go around.

You call asking to respond to questions, asking you prove what you say is fact "needling".

I call it discussion/ conversation, i.e. discussion forum.. You only want to be a preacher.

Again I will use your words

1-

Not unique at all.

Well, it is possible that I may have nothing better to do.

May be. I still believe you would feel better at a site of people who believe as you do as a site like this one is for conversation, exchanges testing of beliefs and statements, you have no interest in that.

But, what exactly are you doing here then?

conversation, exchanges testing of beliefs and statements

Or, is that none of my business? Apparently it is though, otherwise you wouldn't have made my business yours.

Yes, just as you made it our business as why you are here.

How the dictionary defines DISCUSSION

dis·cus·sion Audio pronunciation of DISCUSSION ( P ) Pronunciation Key (d-skshn)

How Iacchus defines DISCUSSION

1- shut up and believe what ever I tell you is true, don’t ask any questions and NO I don’t have any stinking facts. JUST believe me or I will get mad.grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

P.S. it seems you missed this

lacchus may I ask.

Aside from the fact that I think it's irrelevant, what would you have me say? Meaning, what difference does it make, we don't seem to be able to agree upon anything else do we?

Will you EVER answer a question? ( I am sure you will not answer that)

Who knows if we will or will not agree on anything, I am sure there is much we do. But you refuse to conduct a conversation so.

Hey, don't look at me, I don't know anything?

... that's a fly whisk by the way.

This is worse than your washing machine analogy.

Are you suggesting that when you share your knowledge/understanding with others you lose knowledge/understanding yourself?

Are you suggesting there is a limited supply of God?

Are you even trying with these metaphors anymore?

answering a question with a question again...lol

Be fair, Pahansiri, it wasn't a question this time. A non sequitur yes, a question, no.

Actually, it's much more like giving birth, really.

Are you suggesting there is a limited supply of God?

Are you even trying with these metaphors anymore?
Yet it's important to come to the point to where we don't know, otherwise our minds become osbscured with what we think we know. ;) Which is to say, I don't have the knowledge base to reply from, as some people do and, that there's only so much to go around.

No no no!! Look! There's a question mark, just before the picture.
Merely to emphasis that I was no less puzzled than he was, no doubt.

What we must keep in mind is that In Greek mythology, Iacchus is an uncertain person.

I respect that for the simple reason that what I know for certain is that there certainly a lot I do not know.

But of course I don't get angery or name call because people will not simply and blindly believe what I say .

I was just rethinking this after again looking at one of your post. I asked for proof of God and you responded:
The only way you can prove it, is if God were in your veins.

Well of course I don’t seek to prove God as I do not believe in such, I asked YOU to prove God and with that being said and you saying

The only way you can prove it, is if God were in your veins.
and
Just because I may have God in my veins,

By your own words, own logic only a person with God in his veins can prove God. You, have God in your veins so, Prove God.

Note: nothing bites us harder in our as then our own words.

If I get the least bit irritated or angry about something (anger being a part of everyone's character by the way, and typically entails some sort of injustice, initially), and you insist on misinterpreting it, and continue to push "that button," then it becomes totally irrelevant, and I see no point in furthering the argument by your attempts at fanning the flames.

I have nothing to prove to you.
