Cuomo defeated in NYC Democratic Mayoral Primary

Evil: Trying to use your influence as a mayor to use taxes to ensure maybe poorer people can survive a tad easier.

Good: Using your influence as a state government to use taxes stopping chemtrails and weather modification (except that caused by CO2 of course, that's a clear hoax)

American, schmerican, he deserves every bird he gets (both those flipped at him and those that sit on his head and crap on his face.)

Columbus never enslaved a single American.

Or anyone on the territory of the future USA, for that matter.
Technically you can say that, assuming that those he enslaved were not American, but in consequence he also did not discover America and has no standing as an American hero, and according to the anti-diversity philosophy of our current administration, the insistence of Italian-Americans on lionizing him is uniquely Italian, thus quintessentially unamerican, DEI and woke.

Wonderful diversions, completely unrelated to what we are talking about.

The subject of Columbus has always been a diversion, since the history and character of Columbus are irrelevant to the administration of a modern American city. But when you introduced the subject to this thread, it became what we are talking about, because...well, duh, it was what you were talking about! Like it or not, you brought Columbus into this discussion, and in so doing I believe you introduced a spurious fake controversy whose only relevance relies on a double standard - the historically ignorant adulation of an Italian-born hero by Italian Americans, something that in any other cultural, national or ethnic group would be roundly condemned as obstinately diverse.

OK, now that your distraction failed I would remind you that you were the one who brought up Columbus, and now you want to call it a diversion.

That's kind of a playbook for him. We're talking about the guy that literally made a thread about himself to discuss his political viewpoints and then clutched his pearls when he became the subject of the thread. All so that he could deny being a right-winger when all he does is support right-wing stuff. There are a few people around here that do the same thing.

LIAR!

I am famous for pushing a very big left-wing agenda in this forum.
