That is, he (and I) would dispute that he was supporting terrorists. He gave them a shout out precisely because he thinks they aren't terrorists. Framing that as "praising terrorists" is supremely dishonest.

He simply praised them.

He needs to retract that.

"You better look em up" strongly implies that there's a controversy to look into here, and his "love" to them strongly implies which side of the controversy he's on. He also didn't praise them. I don't think you can expect much more than this from rap lyrics.

There's nothing to retract here for people who aren't disingenuously attempting to find an avenue for political attack.

Probably because they funded anti-Israel terrorism that murdered children.

Best for Mamdani to retract this "love". If he wants to become Mayor of a city with 1 million Jews.

Consider the difference between ending a phone call to a friend with "My love to your sister" and "I love your sister".

For someone who is so consistently wrong, you should probably be more careful about accusing people of being liars when they correct you.
