The Hilton sibling surrendered to the FBI Tuesday after being charged with “assaulting and intimidating several flight attendants aboard a British Airways flight from London to Los Angeles” in late July. The Telegraph reports that according to a 17-page affidavit, witnesses said Conrad claimed, “I will ******* own anyone on this flight; they are ******* peasants” and complained that another passenger was giving him the “stink eye.” He also reportedly announced, “I could get you all fired in five minutes. I know your boss. My father will pay this out. He has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time.

The Salon article mentions that Conrad Hilton may have taken a sleeping pill before the flight. He should sue the pharma company and start campaigning against the perils of sleeping pills.

What should be the appropriate punishment for being mouthy on an airplane? I don't see much in the way of criminal offense, at least not in the OP quote. This may be a case where celebrity is punished more than your average jerk on a plane.

I think it's the smoking MJ in the lavatory and the threats of violence that people are more worried about. That and the not sitting down when the sit down light was on.

Mouthy? He threatened the co-pilot. He was smoking on the plane. Those are federal offenses and taken very seriously. Unless of course if daddy is rich.
