You were the one who pointed out that there were some things that Trump didn't say. Why would you do that if not to imply that Dutton was copying Trump?
Let me spell it out as simply as I can.

The argument that Trump didn't tell people to storm the capital is irrelevant.

The argument that Dutton didn't tell people to vandalise Woolies is irrelevant, for the same reason.

Is there any evidence that the person who vandalised the Woolworth's shop did it because of what Dutton said rather than for other reasons?

One big difference between Dutton and Trump is that Dutton is not, and never has been, in Government and Trump was the President of the USA.

Good riddance:

Former prime minister Scott Morrison set to quit politics at end of February

Former prime minister Scott Morrison has announced he will retire from politics at the end of February, ending a 16-year career in federal parliament, including four served as prime minister.

Mr Morrison had initially indicated an intention to stay on in federal politics after the Coalition's May 2022 election defeat, sitting on the backbench.

The decision will trigger a by-election in the southern Sydney seat of Cook, a notionally very safe Liberal seat.

The ABC has also been told two people who could run as Liberal candidates in the Cook by-election are Carmelo Pesce, the current mayor of Sutherland Shire, and Simon Kennedy, the Liberal candidate for Bennelong in 2022.

I hate Morrison with intensity, but he did listen to advice and act quickly on Covid. Closing the border and Jobkeeper were initiatives that were Labor-like.

Jobkeeper and other related covid era benefits were very good initiatives, I'll give him that.

Was the National Cabinet his idea? I approved of that.

Captain Cook statue vandalised in Melbourne on eve of Australia Day

How do our Aussie members feel about celebrating Australia Day? And Captain Cook?

I celebrate Australia Day. But it has nothing to do with Cook. It commemorated Captain Phillips First Fleet.

Both journeys were awesome achievements. I don’t feel bad about Australia Day at all. As a small, isolated country we have achieved great things.

Australia would have become colonised, and it could have been by the French or Dutch. British colonisers were far from perfect, but I’m grateful that it was Britain rather than any other country.
