Trump is doing his utmost to fuel the idea that Jewish Americans have a divided loyalty, and should be considered Israeli Expatriates rather than Americans.

I love his use of "my" people.

Per his usual excuse when he says something really stupid:

Trump told reporters at the White House his remark was a joke. "I was kidding," he said. "You don't understand sarcasm."

Yet nearly half the voters in your country will vote for him.

To me, that suggests a very deep problem.

Obviously, however it's not as simple as saying Trump voters are idiots who would bet on their guy regardless of likelihood, because smart punters will take them on, and clearly the smart money right now says Biden has a smaller chance of winning than Trump.

It's amazing how often he prompts a quote from a particular They Might Be Giants song.

My mistake. When it is odds on, American bookies quote a negative number.

In this case, the US Trump odds are -109 and the US Biden odds are 260 (bet $100 to collect $260).

50%?? No way. His cap is about 38 imo. That might be enough to win though in a 3, possibly even 4 way race with EC stacked red states.

Bigotry is despising people for things they had no choice about and for which they cannot be held responsible, e.g where they were born, their sexuality, the colour of their skin etc. Despising people because of the choices which they freely made, and for which they are therefore entirely responsible, is not bigotry.
