I am assuming here that you are referring to liberals in general, as though you understood our thought processes, as does a certain fat, deaf, pill-popping suspected kiddy-fiddler with a sexual dysfunction who commands a lot of air time spewing out talking points on the radio.

You are acting as though liberals are sexually dysfunctional (even though nearly all the sex scandals involving liberal heroes have involved mature persons of the opposite gender. Bug-eyed? Has the GOP really got anybody to compare to the average Democratic movie star? And most of our congress critters are at least as bright as they are good-looking, usually favoring the bright and sane. We have no Michelle Bachman, no Michelle Malkin. Who needs them?

As for the shooting part, you do not want to be seen trying to match me on the rifle or pistol range. I had military training in that. Regardless how many Republicans there may be among the ranks of our military, veterans are damned rare among you lot, especially in legislative bodies of any sort.

"Daily talking points?" You suggest an order that does not exist. I have yet to see a major Democratic event that was not a cat-round-up. We're too creative.

Of course, there are those who consider Republicans "creative" when they come up with supposedly "new" banking "products" like derivatives, which are actually just a re-labelling of some of the things that FDR made the banks stop doing afdter they ran the ecconomy into the ditch. Insisting that something that failed dysmally before is supposed to work now if we just give the greed heads free rein is a lot worse than a persoanlity dysfunction. It is a sign of mental illness.

Yup. Like leftysergeant said, the hard right does not have a monopoly on shooting sports, hunting, or other outdoor pursuits.

I'd also be willing to bet a case of beer that I can outscore Ms. Palin on the AQT.

Don't get me wrong, she'd be more than welcome at one of our shoots. Or on a hunt. Doesn't mean I want her for President, any more than I'd elect most of my shooting buddies, or nominate myself, for that matter. This has nothing to do with the topic.

I am sure you'd be more than welcome at the next 2000 mile snow machine race. Let us know how you and your hunting buds qualify for that.

Last I heard the reason for hunting moose in Alaska was real simple - harvesting meat. In the order of 400-800 lb, plus 300-400 lb of salmon, per person, each year, before winter sets in. So there's a bit of difference between AQT and "easily, load, aim, fire, hit, kill, recover, skin, slaughter and cook Caribou before lunch."

My point stands that a single line of garbled text is turned into some ridiculous ad hominem for the rest of her character by the people who hate her on more than just her politics. Some of the crap I hear about her character offline is annoying enough

In October 2008 just for fun I debated on this forum against people who started essentially anti-Palin threads. Like this one, they started with some supposed factoid and proceeded into character assassination and smears. No doubt it will start up again in a few months if the ex-Governor decides to run for anything in politics.
