With "partial" response from Gordon Ross.

journalof911studies.com/letters/RossResponsetoAnonymous.pdf

are all scientists and engineers as obnoxious and rude as G.Ross. I am sorry, but someone as distinguished and accomplished as Bazant, does not deserve the words "Nonsensical" applied to anything he writes, in particular, when it comes from Gordon Ross. A comparison of their resumes will make this more than obvious.

SOrry Careful, I wasnt so careful, and linked Rosses response as Newtons...

Hey guys...

All of you have linked to Ross's response. Does anyone have a link to Newton Brit's letter?

It's Newton's Bit, not Newton Brit :D I don't know where his part is.

They complain about an anonymous letter, but they don't mind "Arabesque" using a pseudonym. His latest letter is particularly inane.

As I have noted before, Gordon Ross assumes that all sections of the towers were created (more or less) equal.... However, the upper (tilting) section of WTC 1 was surely more resiliant than the lower (fixed) section because of the stiffening effect of the hat truss. Try crushing a beer can that has been damaged with a horizontal cut near the top of the can. The can buckles completely near the cut, and down from the cut; but it is very difficult to initiate buckling near the top of the can.

There you go again, interfering with a fantasy world by attempting to insert real life into it. They don't want to try it--only youtube can possibly contain reality.;)
If we only lived where all gasses always behaved like the ideal gas laws predict, and entropy was a fiction. Then we could all be troofers...

Sounds to me like he got his idea of what a "straw-man" argument is from Alex Jones. Lots of footnotes, which makes it look vaguely scholarly.

I am amused that the conclusion is "deliberate disinformation" rather that the obvious which is that Fetzer and Wood are crackpots.
