Bush says Mastermind and most terrorists behind 9/11 attacks are in custody

WTF?!?!? Watching Bush'a press conference right now and he just said the mastermind and most terrorists behind the 9/11 attacks are in custody and will be brought to justice. Hello?!?!? Am I the only one that finds something wrong with that?? I thought most of the terrorists behind the attacks DIED on 9/11. And Mr. President, we have Osama in custody?? I'm waiting for a damn reporter to question his words.

Does it occur to you that information gleaned from interrogting KSM might be used to offer better info than was originally put out when less detail was known?

That is called updating information, not denial. No one had or has instantaneous understanding of what an ememy is doing. As time passes and more information is considered and vetted, a better picture is formed of what went on. See also how a detective solves a murder, or the recent case of Mr Karr who, on first reports, confessed to killing Ms Ramsey, but who once MORE INFORMATION WAS DEVELOPED AND CONSIDERED, was shown to have not done so.

Just thought I would echo what has already been said to you. The mastermind behind 911 is infact in custody (KSM). He came up with the plan in 1996 and it was rejected by Al Quada. In 1998 UBL the spiritual leader of Al Quada changed his mind and endorsed it.

In 1998 the plan was called the "plane operation".

Not masterminded by UBL but fully endorsed by him. The story has not changed.

Those "behind" the attacks is a set that includes those that "carried out" the attacks, plus an indeterminate number of other people. Most of the people in the first (behind) set, who were not also in the second (carried out) set, are now alleged to be in custody. Get it now, or do I need to figure out how to post Venn Diagrams?

To be clear: In a lot of cases, GWBush is a putz, whom I disagree with. This case is not one of them. I reserve the right to make this determination in any particular case.
