Shooting/attack on Michigan LDS Church

No. Nontrinitarianism is a belief of multiple xian sects, Unitarianism, Arianism and some Pentecostals, for example.
I did say just about every other christian. Yes, a very small minority of christians are non-trinitarian. That you can find other heretics doesn't change the reality that the vast majority of christians think non-trinitarians is heresy. That's not the only substantial difference between LDS and most orthodox Christians.

Well, they don't regard most non-Catholics as proper Christians, and want them all to return to the fold.
It's in the name isn't it. Catholic = universal.

Oh, blimey, let's not drag the Orthodox lot into this too.
small "o" in this case, by which I meant the things that most christians believe that you need to believe to be a christian.

There is also the whole pre existence of Souls which flies in the face of standard Christian doctrine.

Not if you were raised a strict Monothiest, which most Christians are.
Except they have the whole trinity thing going on at the same time. "WTF is the Holy Spirit?" is pretty much what made me a (closet) atheist at 14 or so.
And then there's all those Saints, for some of them. People actually pray to them.

Possible religious motives:
None-LDS christians for reason mentioned above.
Former LDS member on account of being ostracized or just bitter about his former church.
Schismatic LDS member for similar reasons to other christians.

Not knowing anything else about the guy, I'd flip a coin as to whether he'd be left or right but if posts in this thread are correct, he seems to be MAGA. MAGA's biggest crowd are self-professed evangelicals that don't go to church, so former LDS seems likely.

The amount of effort being exerted in this post to avoid admitting this guy was MAGA without making it look like an attempt to avoid admitting this guy was MAGA is truly Herculean.

You know they kind of have a point about Mormons. The Theology is very different from just about every other Christian Sect. They don't believe in the Trinity for instance, which is one that just about every other Christian denomination requires.
A lot of Xian scholars wonder about that whole Trinity thing too. They just don't talk about it much.

Whatever it is got a bunch of likes but <shrug> it won't show me in "this region".
A list of images of shooters, almost all young white men. At the bottom is a pie chart titled Murders by Domestic Extremists showing 2% Left-wing extremism, 24% Islamic extremism, and 74% Right-wing extremism.

Having a whole new book of the Bible that was created in the 19th Century is a bit of a difference.
