Musk wins the vote. What is happening to the world where there is unquestioning loyalty to people like Musk and Trump. You know already they care for nothing other than themselves and the adulation they demand.

Well now that he's held the board hostage he'll doubtless come up with the new products Tesla desperately needs.

Musk wins the vote.

I voted against. Both the compensation package and the move to Texas. But it just shows the majority of shareholders still back Musk.

I agree it’s an inordinate amount of money, especially for a company that’s facing challenges going forward. Still, it was a deal made a long time ago and Musk did, in fact, achieve what were very auspicious goals set years ago.

It appears the market liked the vote, at least so far. I was ready to lighten up on some of my shares if the stock dropped to 160, but I hope it continues its upward trend. But I’m much less enthusiastic now than I was a short time ago.

If I were you I would sell now. Most of it at least.

"I hope it continues its upward trend."

Is there anything to base that hope on?

Well, there's the fact that "meme-stockers" are known to be willing to pump cash into a stock to inflate or keep it afloat purely for the sake of doing that, completely disconnected with the value of the actual company. Bed Bath and Beyond described this phenomenon in its final filings; its stock was massively inflated on the retail market even as it was diving into bankruptcy and dissolution.

Well this should be interesting

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy...musk-for-diverting-carmakers-resources-to-xai

Both Tesla and xAI* ordered large quantities of the latest H100 GPUs from Nvidia. Tesla was first in the queue but its order was diverted to xAI. The idea was xAI would "pay" for them by giving Tesla GPUs from its order when it was fulfilled later.

The plaintiffs allege that Musk's actions were to the detriment of Tesla. Also xAI was poaching engineers off Tesla and using Tesla's data without compensation.

The story seems to have broken on Friday, the day after the shareholder vote. I wonder if some of the shareholders are now regretting their vote given that the CEO of Tesla who says that the future of Tesla is in AI is actively involved in a direct competitor in that market and apparently stealing resources of Tesla.

*xAI is a start up created by Elon Musk last year to do AI research.

- the GPUs were meant for Tesla's benefit.
- they were given a xAI instead
- xAI is going to use them to Save the World!!!
Therefore, the GPUs will be used for Tesa's benefit.

What's the problem?

Sell the meme stock before it goes even further south.

Cyber**** shipping halted. Windscreen wiper breaks.

Someone posted a video showing their Cyberflunk's wiper wiggling back and forth at highway speed. For those unaware, since there is a flat transition from the bottom of the windshield to the lid of the forward-trunk, the single enormous wiper on this $100,000 vehicle can't be parked out of the wind the way it can on any other vehicle; instead it is parked pointing straight upwards along the driver-side A-post - where, as mentioned, at a high enough driving speed the wind causes it to shudder.

Tesla responded to this by declaring that the shuddering was the wiper motor intentionally repositioning the wiper by design, in order to "increase aerodynamic efficiency".

maybe, it would be the most aerodynamic feature on the, well i hesitate to call it a truck but, truck

at this point , the only reason why Musk insists on being closely involved with his companies is so he can get into the pants of his female employees.
