I voted against. Both the compensation package and the move to Texas. But it just shows the majority of shareholders still back Musk.
I agree it’s an inordinate amount of money, especially for a company that’s facing challenges going forward. Still, it was a deal made a long time ago and Musk did, in fact, achieve what were very auspicious goals set years ago.
It appears the market liked the vote, at least so far. I was ready to lighten up on some of my shares if the stock dropped to 160, but I hope it continues its upward trend. But I’m much less enthusiastic now than I was a short time ago.

Tesla responded to this by declaring that the shuddering was the wiper motor intentionally repositioning the wiper by design, in order to "increase aerodynamic efficiency".
