zen

tsig-zen is violent for you. Do you understand that? Have you ever wondered why in your life there are non-violent things and violent things? Have you ever tried to remain with your violence, which is what zen is when vilence comes? Not to escape from uncomfort, but to remain with incovenience... Zen is for few who are able to remain with their biggest enemy... Zazen is to sit down with your brain cells. But how many people really understand it? Very few, very few...

Why no, I never gave it a moments thought, I thought things just happened.

I once tried to remain with my violence, took me three months in the hospital after that.

There's no doubt that my brain cells are my biggest enemy that's why I've tried for years to kill them with alcohol so now there's very few, very few.

To derail this thread: how is zazen different to meditation or other mindfulness practices?

Moss-zazen does not make anything. You sit. That's all. You do not paint legs for a snake.

What is true Buddha?
When the sun goes up, the rooster sings. When the sun goes down, the owl hoots.

The sun comes up, the sun goes down
The hands on the clock go round and round
I just just got up, and I got to lay down
Life gets teejus, don't it?

Om.

You just cleaned your house yesterday and already the mirrors are dusty. Some surfaces seem to naturally attract more dust and, often, your mirror becomes dusty due to the products and supplies you use to clean it. While there's no foolproof way to keep dust from returning to your mirror, you can keep it at bay a little longer with supplies found in your home.

My mind is dirty. Which products and supplies to use to clean it?

It's so small, and in such bad repair, I wouldn't worry about it.
