Hi, Spanx, they are hundreds of similar "debates" on Youtube, so it is difficult to choose some of them as especially "interesting". YouTube, with so many active truthers and so many contributions, is indeed a medium creating a kind of "virtual reality", in which the inside job 911 seems to be a proven fact, at least for "newcomers".

It would be perhaps interesting to make some statitics, how it is with a ratio between truthers and skeptics contributing in YouTube 911 debates. I would guess that this ratio is ca 4:1 (???).
 
I also recommend you have a look at Facebook groups made by 9/11 Truth and We Are Change. It's interesting to watch the way in which they assume it's widely understood among construction and firefighting professionals that something was terribly wrong during 9/11.

The ratio is much, much higher. There are no skeptics at all involved in the Facebook discussions. These are closed discussions used to recruit new members and create ideology among close associates. If you visit the WAC groups, many of these people are active promoting conspiracy in real life on the streets and know each other personally in the real world. They use Youtube as a resource to cite like scientists cite scientific journals. It's interesting for a short time, but really, these are very silly people.
 
Youtube truthers. I've dealt with so many over the years that I can honestly conclude they are the biggest group of total wacko's out there. Total thorough going idiots. No more. They sit on youtube searching out anything 9/11, and spraying it with their spammed rhetoric. You can show them the answers to all the claims, and they dismiss it as fake, staged, wrong, lies, etc. Total morons. You want to see some interesting threads? Have a look at some of the comments on my '9/11 conspiracy road trip' upload.

I'm subscribed to you on YouTube and often see your comments on the subscription feed. I really don't know how you have the patience for it.
 
They YT comment sections are socially dysfunctional areas. Hit and run, people hiding behind anonymous screen names, no moderation whatsoever, all-out insultfests.

The total lack of social control and moderation, along with the limit to 255 characters and a prohibition on URLs, ensure that extreme behaviour emerges, which is probably in no way representative of anything in the real world - not even of the actual participants.

I think the funniest thing with the link is the video owner, "ae911truth", assuming it's affiliated with the actual group, deletes the comments and bans anyone who disagrees with them. I thought truthers were a supporter of free speech? Or only when it applies to them? I myself have been banned by that account for months, but I see beachnuts comment from yesterday has been removed, assuming he is also banned too (at least I'm assuming it was beachnut, it was kind of his style :) )

Do you have an estimated time we can expect anything of value/importance/significance from you?

Should we look to Loose Change forum for the words of wit that you soon will spew forth?

Truthers outnumber debunkers there by many times, it's likely because the format of the forum- no links or copy/pasting large amounts of substantiating info found in them is allowed. Posts are kept short.
It allows them to dumb down the discussions, only way they can present their side. And of course they can support their cutesy little clips with all the non points like "never before in history has fire caused a building collapse, let alone 3 in one day".
I look forward to a day when public rhetoric of their nature, which is rather damaging to our country, with refusal to concede to common sense, is due cause to be locked up.
But that's unAmerican isn't it.
(With America's economic status diminishing, as well as our image, I take their claims before the world that we did this to ourselves to invade countries and steal their oil, to be like a passenger in a life raft at sea off in the corner stabbing at the canvas deck with an ice pick. Can't we throw them overboard?)

The bad part of the internet is that it gives complete zeros a platform to spew off at the mouth. YouTube Truthers employ similar tactics are normal truthers, especially the lack of grasp for the concept of burden of proof. I don't know how many times someone has made a claim, I've asked for evidence, and I get the "I'm not hear to hold your hand, use Google" response.

Burden of proof is IMO the central procedural error in all the debates on these forums.

It must be AFAICS because there has never been a coherent claim to prima facie standard put forwards by any truther. i.e. the prima facie standard of "it is worthy of a response". There may be the odd exception but claims are (appear to be) universally "Here is an anomaly that I cannot explain THEREFORE you debunkers prove it is wrong.

And even that comes in two versions viz:
1) Prove the anomaly wrong - which isn't all that serious; OR
2) Prove that the "big question" is wrong because I identified an anolmaly that I cannot explain - whether that "big question" is CD or No plane or....whatever.

And usually the "reversed burden of proof" is backed up by the false dilemma - "If you cannot prove me wrong I must be right!"

Lol, yes the comments on that link do get cleaned on a daily basis. It would probably be fair to say it is ae911truth :D.

Between the 2 aetruth links, I have not seen one truther answer any question, it's all about hired trolls (whatever they are). The user Thomas Lewis claims to be an engineer :D. I have no doubt c7 will be proud of him.
