If you go to this page then you'll find a collection of videos showing smoke & fire in WTC7. Most of these come from Steve Spak's footage, but if you scroll to the bottom then after Clip 11 you'll see "Another View". I remember once seeing this in a longer clip, but now can't remember what it was, or where this video came from - can anyone remind me, please?

ETA: it's the one that looks like this (hotlinked I know, but to my own site, hopefully that's okay):

That's the same clip at the end. I'm not sure if it's the original, though, and there's no clue as to the source. Still, it's another lead & I can always ask the person who posted it - thanks for taking the time to help.

At that time anyone who went anywhere near WTC7 were firemen or police officers, the videographer could be one of them.

Maybe Steve Spak?

I had seen it first on some troofer site (webfairy or plaguepuppy come to mind) as a quicktime movie. "Bld7.mov". Quick google doesn't provide much re: the possible real source. Maybe cameraplanet could help?

I also vaguely remember it as a part of some much longer video, but can't remember the details. Perhaps the "First 24 Hours" documentary?

Yes! Another step closer, I do have that movie here. It could be where I saw it, but like you maybe, I have a feeling that I also found it in something else. Something where it was a real surprise, the camera panned around and suddenly there it was, WTC7. Maybe I need to go back to the DVDs: I've got The First 24 Hours so I'll start there.
