Hijabi can actually be very attractive and classy, believe it or not. Of my Muslim friends--which are oddly numerous for a white Jewish boy--only a couple are so observant as to wear hijabi, but I have to say it looks really good on them.
The Iranians I've seen who do it well let a little hair out from the front, makes it look a lot better (most wear petticoats, not the awful full hijab). I kinda see them as Xmas presents with a lot of wrapping (since it's not mandatory in the house, this is not as impossible as it may sound). I wouldn't suggest even thinking about it in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. They WILL kill you there. And her for being the recipient of your Evil Eye and sorcery.
