Will The Donald's campaign implode (by certain definitions of "implode") and when?

I think his ego is so massive, he might just suddenly implode into a black hole. But we're talking about his campaign (or lack thereof) here. Is The Donald's campaign going to implode into a black hole of fail, and if so, when?

The post-convention attacks will be relentless. I think he can hold it together for another month, but not all the way to November.
 
At the convention when he disses everyone who didn't support him, and freaks out over the attempted but failed coup.
 
He has already imploded, just that Americans have not noticed. The rest of the world is laughing at Americans. The real question should be when will Americans notice that Trump has imploded? I only hope before the convention so he can be replaced.
 
I think in the weeks before the election when he is down big in the polls and the Republicans have completely abandoned him, he is going to meltdown extremely hard. He will be attacking the Republicans and the media and barely even mentioning Hillary and spouting off increasingly bizarre nonsense/conspiracy theories.

I can't wait.

Oh, many of us have noticed. Or rather half the rest of the world is laughing, though not in the good way.

Saw a snippet just this morning (I really can't make it through even a large fraction of any given speechifying of his)... more of the usual overly emotional gesticulating. I picture him onstage at The Laugh Factory or some such. It's really the only appropriate place for his antics.

The other half? They're noticing the beads of sweat forming on their brows.

And those are our allies. :eek:

I'm looking forward to the debates. Hillary will absolutely dismantle him. That will be the implosion moment, IMO.
 
I think he's already imploded but I chose the Planet X option.

The man has moved past bat **** crazy into lost loon territory. Every time he opens his mouth, more and more bizarre speech spews forth. If I were a close family member, I'd be considering an intervention. Not that Trump would care, of course.
 
I think the implosion has begun...maybe it begun with his response to the Orlando shootings....but it will be a slow burn.
And the collatrieal damage to other GOP candidates will be bad.
 
Should've been a multiple choice poll. He's already imploded sufficiently to guarantee much hilarity, as he's the sorest of sore losers in the history of humankind. As he gets caught out in one ugly moment, he doubles down with additional stupid moments, lies again and burnishes the lies with other ugly moments.... and gets caught out again. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. One implosion after another. The man's caught up in an implosion continuum.

I think his convention speech will be totally "by the book". I'd hope that would be The Book of the Dead, but I think he can read/act professionally for thirty minutes. It's the Hannity interviews and Fox and Friends phone-ins that have the potential for week-long mini-implosions. He is such a narcissist that he thinks the entire world outside his cocoon is as fawning as the Fox sycophants and he'll get caught up in his own mouth and say something truly ugly and stupid again, all the while with Hannity doing his best bobble-headed doll routine.

Actually, it's "bobble-headed-doll version of the weasels from Who Framed Roger Rabbit". Tell 'em, Donald. Yeah. Get 'em. Get 'em.

But he MUST NOT completely implode before his non-concession speech on election night. I am counting on him to take down a whole segment of the GOP. The Dems have caught onto the state-house gerrymandering, finally, and are getting organized to prepare for the results of the 2020 census. And with three Dem terms - Bill, Barack, Hillary - the federal courts will be stacked with liberal judges. More and more of the current re-districting plans of GOP state legislatures will be rolled back. This whole thing extends to 2030. Without Trump, it'll take those fourteen years to re-establish one-man-one-vote in the House. With Trump, it could happen by the middle of Hillary's second term.
 
Here's my fantasy. Trump implodes. The Senate and House shift to Democratic control. And Clinton will be ready to move on day one to get as much legislation passed as possible over the next two years.

If all goes well, then maybe the subsequent 2 after that.:thumbsup:
 
At this point, I'm genuinely unsure what would even qualify as an implosion for Trump. He's already said and done all manner of things that would have tanked a normal person's political career. It's like the party animal guy who can do things to his body that would kill anyone else but who's still somehow walking around and having a good time.
 
All that is needed is to interdict his supply of hair spray and spray tan chemicals.

At that point he will become unrecognizable and the secret service will treat him as a threat.

Just for a sense of fair play; The same thing would happen if Hillary's pants suits were to disappear.

Really? You think he can go two or three more months before he completely melts down? He is already saying the NeverTrump movement is a hoax by the media.

Cripes, I think Clinton could get him to meltdown quite noticeably if during a commercial break in the debates she says "cough, tax returns, cough."
