I know Giga-Powers is running away with it, but I just had to vote for Pr(x) = 0 means that x is possible? It reminded me so much of the "If it's infinitely impossible, it must be finitely probable" line from Hitchhiker's Guide..

The fatwa and police state ones were also good.

It seems that I rarely vote the majority, and now that I've finally got around to voting this month, that is the case this month as well. But it's all good. ;)

Also, PayPal is ridiculous. I'm still waiting for the transfer of funds from my bank account to my PayPal account to be processed. At this rate I'll be donating to the JREF in 2012, just before the world ends. :p

Tonight marks a very special occasion. Tonight marks the final award that I will present as Democratically Elected Tyrant of Teh Stundie Awards. While I know that this means that some of you are already sharpening your knives and blowing up balloons (not necessarily for the same event), I feel it grants me a bit of leeway to mix things up tonight in the Stundie Speech. That, and I don't have access to my computer with the files on it...and forum searches are so 2007.

The winner of the Stundies in January of last year was Lyte Trip with his see-saw analogy. At the time, I thought nothing could be crazier. Thankfully, I was wrong in this regard, and tonight Heiwa has kept the great conspiracy theory dream alive with the following gem:

I would like to extend my deepest congratulations to Heiwa. While the competition this month was worthy, Heiwa stood out above the rest with his campaign to inform us all of the nefarious bouncing giga powers that plague the modern structural engineering community.

I always thought I'd like to go out with a bang, and this one had thermite written all over it. Congratulations Heiwa, and Mazel Tov!​
