which hotel?

Construction workers....Rawr!

Yeah, not many of the older hotels have conference facilities at all, it appears. Treasure Island doesn't have any. I think you're pretty limited when you try and keep it under $100 a night.

I think we should know soon!

Let's hope (or not) that it isn't Hooters!

They don't even have their meetings section available online. Even worse, the San Remo's meeting room capacity was only 400 people.

I vote for the Hustler Casinos. I'm sure there's a hotel attached and plenty of amenitites.

I vote for making the Hustler casino our regular hangout, but not actually have the meeting there. You know, keep business and pleasure separate.

Umm... the Hustler casino is in Gardena (Los Angeles).

And it is rather small. Intimate, but small.

Good poker, tho - I played against James Woods there.

-AH.

With all the talk about being on or off the strip, I really have to tout the virtues of getting a rental car while at TAM. At about $25/day, it can be cheaper than a couple cab rides and is insanely more convenient. All the hotels have free parking, and if you zip up and down the side streets, you can be from one end of the strip to the other in a matter of minutes. Most important, though, is that having a car will make you wildly popular with the other TAM'ers... it'll be like high school all over again.

And as for the Hooters Hotel, well, that might not be the best place to host a bunch of skeptics. We'd spend all day saying things like "Naw, I really don't think they're real" and demanding that the hotel management submit to double-blind tests.
