Not only do I now have to consider "fields of fire" when choosing a gas station, now I have to drive by this sign every day on the way to work.

Plus, MSNBC says there is a lookout for "a dark pickup truck with tinted windows driven by an overweight white male." Nice. In West Virginia, a pickup driven by a fat white guy. Real rare.

Oddly enough, I often use the Cedar Grove gas station and it seems a terrible venue to pick for a sniper attack. It sits in a gap in the mountain where you can't see the building unless you are right in front of it. It just seems crazy that the sniper picked a location where there was zero chance he wouldn't be seen.

I'm just glad I have a full tank....
 
I predict that the sniper is a white person, acting alone, with no military training. You'll all see that I'm right. ;)

I love the way there are people already saying what an expert sniper-dead-eye-dick type person this guy must be to get a head shot at 70 yards. Like any muppet with a half decent rifle cant do the same :rolleyes:

This sign is about 1/4 mile away from the site of one of the shootings.
 
We must follow the Jedi tradition of covering all the bases.

It is a tall, slim white guy with military training acting alone.

He is also short and bald, black and has a kid with him.

He drives a white van but shoots from a dark colored pickup truck.

He is an expert sniper with no military experience.

He is also a female Hispanic with a speech impediment.

He is a member of the Taliban and the Michigan militia.

I think that about covers it. Anything I missed?

BTW Suddenly,....good luck with the gas pumping heebie-jeebies. Now you know how we felt in Northern VA last October.
