Have you tried harder? The guy has a frigging huge forehead, :)

I can also see a the top of a Predator's head, but I don't think I am supposed to.

If you divide the image into thirds by width, the face is right near the bottom where the left third and middle third meet.

It's not a face in the pattern of beans.

It's a face that looks like a single bean.

OK, that was finally the hint that helped me see it. Now where is the logo?

Hint: (Part of) it is in the logo.

What logo?

Keep your eyes focussed near the middle of the beans (This may help if you close one eye).
After about 20-30 seconds, you can see a transparent Heinz logo appear across the bottom of the screen (it is magenta coloured)
 
I actually started feeling a little sick looking at these things. I stopped.

Although there's another Fundy, my wife's best friend, that I'm seriously thinking of banning from the house. The Fundamentalism doesn't bug me so much as the insistence that we never landed on the moon, and that Niel Armstrong is an alcoholic recluse because of the guilt he feels in helping to cover up the murders of the Apollo 1 crew.

It appears that the site is not Firefox friendly. I saw a lot more when using Internet Explorer. I didn't test other browsers.

The author meant "(Part of) it is in the icon." ... the little icon in the upper right corner of the page.

Works fine with Firefox for me. Do you both have the Flash plugin?


Btw - nice bit on pareidolia and the Mars "face" (with obligatory link to skepdic.com).

I'm using Firefox on my linux machine and it works just fine, Did you pay attention to any missing plug in messages?

I'm using Firefox on Windows XP and it seems to handle the site just fine. Of course, it is a site full of optical illusions ...

It's probably my flashblock extension. It should be showing me a button that would play the flash object. Instead I get nothing.

It's the price I pay for elliminating flash adds. It's not the first time I have seen this behavior. I wish I could turn the damn thing off temporarily.
