See, even if Randi doesn't get an afterlife, he has to be conscious of the darkness in order to realize how wrong he was, otherwise it's just not satisfying. Even nonbelievers must have an afterlife, even if it's a dark, soundless one.

As an excellent mimic myself, i could probably have this guy wrapped around my little finger with a few impressions. I would have him thinking andy kaufman , James Doohan and Moe howard were giving him messages from beyond the grave in minutes if this is his criteria
 
A woman at the live stream from Randi's talk in Norway just asked him a question about Victor Zammit... I think she wanted Randi to prove Zammit wrong. There was some money to be won. Will they never stop embarrassing themselves?

Goes to show that he is an influence, of some kind. He likes to bash mean old Randi and Dawkins regularly, winning the affections of the afflicted in that way too. If there's a recording of that stream going up somewhere I'd like to see it.

They don't think that it's possible for their "mediums" to escape their binds, therefore the physical stuff is real. If a real skeptic was allowed to be present or if they allowed someone to reproduce the effects, they might realize they've been duped.

Another thing is that these people focus a lot on research that was done before our time. There were a lot more credulous "skeptics" back then and a lot of successful fraud against science-minded people was possible. That's why they have to focus on the old sources so much.

This weeks newsletter featured some evidence of physical mediums producing fingerprints on wax about 80 years ago. The credulity produces a culture of insanity that never ends
