i know i know. But the problem with science and astrology is that skeptics cannot read our minds.
IE. i calculated the ascendant of a friend of mine to be Leo, yet i though for myself «he looks more like a Virgo», and later i found out he had Virgo ascendant because he was born in Africa.See the problem?

Most astrological readings are partway accurate because they are so vague and general that they can apply to anyone.

No, your teacher probably thinks you're catching on to his crap and is trying to confuse you. Saying that most readings apply to just about everyone because all humans have 23 chromosones is like saying that a Virgo's reading will apply equally to a Scorpio because most people have two legs. No correlation whatsoever, except to prove that he really IS just making this up.

I was referring specifically to vbloke's ascendent. A difference of an hour in time gives a different ascending sign - that would be enough to put your reading of him out.

certainly. When i started in 1977 there were no computer softwares.
He didnt tell me he was born in Africa. thats why i first got his ascendant wrong

This is marvellous - I've kept a copy of this. With your permission I'll use this in my informal non-blind unscientific testing that I plan to do with some of my customers.
