If NATO means more then empty talk. thek let them for a defense force from NATO nations and have it in the air to Greenland ASAP.
Of course that would take some courage, and that seems tobe lacking among NATO leaders.
In fac, the main problem with the opposition to Trump is a lack of intesitnal fortutude.
It was Churchill who said the reason that Courage was such an important virtue is that without it, other virutes often become powerless.

So it is not as if the US needs to actually invade the country to have access to it.

We have already had theories put forward by some people here that the whole thing is a negotiation tactic, but that is looking less and less likely as there is nothing that Trump and his gargoyle, Stephen Miller, seem to accept as enough to appease them.
