Trump's Second Term

Fossil fuel industry investors, tax-benefactors. The industry itself, not so much.

I would speculate the industries that depend on fossil fuels are either so geared to new technologies or so run down now that "new" investment will not prove viable in either the near of longer future. In short, it would cost more to go backwards than forwards.
It's always about the money. But sadly, the average Joe out there has a short term memory. The energy industry has seen more shenanigans manipulating markets.

He calls any court case "winning", so it is...in his brain.
One [that] man's brain is another man's [rancid, off brand, and potentially likely toxic] pudding.

People of the Earth, hear my plea: do not raise up the pudding-brains. Do not give them power, do not give them authority, for they are thick as constipated pig ◊◊◊◊. They will ruin everything good, in part because they are nasty, brittle little shittles, in part because some leftist cuck-snowflake-domestic-terrorist asked them not to, but mostly because they are pudding-brains [and it doesn't matter if you are imagining the US or the non-US definition of pudding, neither is a thing brains should resemble] that don't understand, or care, how anything works as long as their team 'wins'.

I'm still a bit of a fan of Cipolla's "stupid matrix." It's honestly a bit hard to tell the difference between the stupid and the bandits in the Trump Administration in that measure, unfortunately. Outside of the Trump Administration, of course, nigh all Trump voters can be safely said to have been stupid, though, rather than bandits.

But he thinks he is winning.................

This regime is like 30 retarded monkeys in a poo throwing war against the law of the land and its citizens.
Just as the courts and congress stop one mess three others and some stupid distraction come up.

They "win" when they buy time to get away with something for a week before its shot down, and then nobody prosecuted them for it.
Yet.
Stealing enough money for a good getaway plan seems to be the theme here. They know it's not going to be happy days when this regime ends.

Unless that one of them manages to build his Mars rocket it won't be enough. There is nowhere on this planet they can all escape eventual justice. Their best hope is to stall until they drop dead from old age.

Pete Hegseth
This will be immediately appealed.
Sec. Hegseth's argument was based almost entirely on one court case. It applies to active-duty service members but not to retired service members. Nor does it apply to Senators. Without that one singular case, poorly interpreted, Hegseth's argument devolves to the same vague, handwaving accusations as everyone else in the Trump regime.

Sedition is sedition, “Captain.”
Sen. Kelly isn't accused of "sedition" in any court document. It's just Twitter bluster.
