There are reasons that his defense prevented Trump from giving much of anything under oath during his first term and that he was caught lying in what he did.

It's really taking it to a new high of oblivious hypocrisy when the guy who claimed the "autopen" was proof that Biden had no idea what was being said and done in his name now defends his own idiocy by saying that not only did he himself (Trump) not bother to "review" in its entirety what he was passing on, nobody did.

I don't, unfortunately, think this will put much of a dent in his armor. This is the guy who was, after all, elected twice even after the "grab 'em by the pussy" thing.

Yep, the irony is that had he been a contestant on his own show, the Apprentice, he would have fired himself by the first task.

He did, over course, review the post in its entirety and gave it his full approval. It's well known that he is a micromanager and would never do otherwise. The one and only reason he pulled it after 12 hours is that he saw backlash even from some of his closest supporters, and realized his poll numbers would sink even lower if he kept it up. So some sort of additional lie was necessary as an excuse.

The 12 hour delay in figuring out that it was a big deal is the real worry--that shows his mental decline. If there is another Cuban Missile Crisis, it suggests he will wait for the nukes to be in the air before figuring out that it might be time to do something about it.

Either way it's another brick in the wall that's coming down on top of him one day.
Black voters are real, people who respect the legacy of the Obama presidency too.

Or just people that know they are next because they aren't rich white donors to his coffers.
