It's embarrassing for such a wealthy nation to have so many poor people who need help just to get enough food.

There are really 2 americas. The one you see on tv and the other one that no one looks at. If you drive through the central parts of some states like Florida or West Virginia (among others), it doesn't look a whole lot different than a 3rd world country with people living in shacks made of tar paper and corrugated iron. It can be hard to believe you are in the wealthiest country in the world.

We know he does believe god saved him from the assassination attempt. Remember god is proud of him, he also told us that.

It comes from living in denial. People who reject reality react poorly when reality is forced upon them. They're living a defense mechanism. Which, to be fair, is probably the default natural state for humans.
 
Regarding trump's unhinged threat regarding certification of Gulfstream aircraft. Apparently, the 500, 600 and 800 series have already been certified in Canada. Its only the 700 series that has not been and the process has been delayed. By what exactly, is not public as far as I can see.

One analyst says its not uncommon and usually revolves around documentation requirements that haven't been met.

So as usual, trump is just a bumbling buffoon with no knowledge of anything beyond spray tan.

Man, I too believe he was saved by god. Some malevolent piece of ◊◊◊◊ god, for sure. But what we witnessed that day was a divine intervention. He was THAT close to croaking, in spectacular fashion none the less. I won't say I'm sad it didn't happen. First it could be illegal where I live, second I'm not so sure what would happen with US and the world, if it happened. But the luck of the bastard is certainly beyond remarkable.

My 20 year old daughter spent this summer in the US working in a summer camp in the Poconos then a few days - a week in NYC, Nashville, Santa Monica, Hawaii and other places. She was struck by how common and visible terrible poverty was, how poor service was (she's worked pub barmaid to silver service) and how angry and resentful so many people seemed to be.
