Trump sent out a fundraising email that asked its recipients to fill out a survey and asked, "Are you a proud American Citizen or does ICE need to come and track you down?"

Could just be me, but does threatening your own supporters with your gestapo seem like a plan that might backfire?

The public mustn't find out in 20 years time but we don't mind if the Iranians find out when it's still useful.

Not sharing a movie with critics before its release is usually a bad sign, since it means that its probably a bad movie that would be hurt by critics reviews. And the booing and poor ticket sales are other bad signs.

Not really sure how having "executives" at a premier will do much to boost ticket sales.

The first lady chose Amazon over other studies because it agreed to do “a quality film in theaters” followed by a docuseries.

A series following the movie? That changes everything. Now I HAVE to see the movie, otherwise I won't be able to follow what's happening in the series.

The project was helmed by Rush Hour director Brett Ratner, who was been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women...Ratner was spotted in a photo released as part of the Epstein files.

Well, at least Ratner (the director) will be familiar with the source material.


I think 5 millions is on par with what analysts expect.

Yes, I know, they are usually all over themselves in order to bribe trump to get on his good side. But Melanie is one step removed from Trump. I wonder if they might cut their loses, deciding this particular project won't do enough to get on Stubby McBonespur's good side.

I've seen a post on FB arguing, quite convincingly, that the sole purpose of the movie is for Bezos to contribute $40million to Trump, via Melania. That's apparently what the rights to her story cost; the actual cost of making the 'movie' have not been made public.

Signal chat, Trump making private calls to Putin, personal emails being used for government business, Trump bringing insecure private cell phones into meetings discussing top secret stuff, Trump taking pictures of highly classified stuff in those meetings and posting it to social media, Trump literally telling top secret stuff to Lavrov as if it were casual conversation... the list goes on and on.

A vote for Trump after that first term is proof positive that National Security and the concepts that made Hillary's emails troubling were irrelevant to the Trump voter.

Aside from that, whoever actually wrote it is showing that he or she is an ignorant and bigoted buffoon, since, whatever your political bent, I am willing to bet that even our most conservative correspondents here are aware that the enormous number of legal and appropriate aliens residing in our country do not fall into either of the two badly spun categories here.

The first screening of Melania Trump's documentary has been canceled in some theaters across the UK after distributors allegedly forgot to send the film.

Irish Star reporter Charl Wright headed to a Vue cinema in Islington, London, to watch the first screening, which was scheduled for 12.05pm GMT. However, once at the venue, she was told by a staff member that the screening couldn't go ahead because the film wasn't delivered in time.
