He might actually have a point. Europe may be making trade deals that help fund the same country that is waging war in Ukraine. (I also think the Nordsteam pipeline was rather silly, bringing in Russian natural gas to germany.)

If it were any other administration making this criticism, it would be worth listening to. But since it is coming from the Trump administration (people who have been overtly friendly to Putin, and who seem intent on maintaining oil dependance with their "drill baby drill" attitude), it is hard to take them seriously.

THIS. Some of criticism aimed at Europe I ageee with. I agree with the NATO commander who said if they are serious about going indepdent of the US in defense, they are going have to spend a hell of a lot more then they are. But Trump is so full of BS that he can be safely ignored.

Sadly, I think that partly explains some of his behaviour.

But we must never say that he's mentally ill. Because that needs lots of evidence going back years. And you have to be a psychiatrist who's interviewed him, whereupon you are bound by patient confidentiality and must never say that anyway.

Fortunately for us amateurs, we need not bother to say he's mentally ill, because there is no such ethical or professional bar to declaring that he is a violent, misinformed, stupid and incompetent liar, which should disqualify the sanest of evil tyrants....oh, and having written this before I saw TM's post above, of course we should add pervert somewhere to the list.

Hope they don't find an original VAX mainframe... It will get them all excited, and they will rip apart a perfectly fine and historic computer looking for the "stollen votes".
