Trump's Second Term

Gibberish

Trump: "That number can double and triple if we do the right things, if we change thinking so that if you announce good numbers that markets go up instead of if you announce good numbers the market goes down because everybody tries to kill it by raising lowering or raising interest rates depending on the situation"

Reporter: Were you worried about the market reaction to your tariffs on Monday and Tuesday?

Trump: The market reaction has been good.

Reporter: They came up only after you backed away from your threats

Trump: The market came up very nicely

Is anyone investigating the financial investments of Trumps administration and associated parties?
From the start, all of Trump’s posturing and announcements has smacked of deliberate market manipulation by him and his cronies.
There you go, Democrats, Trump's even admitting it. Get onto it.

Or is he just shooting a man on 5th avenue?

So, who's on board so far with Trump's "Board of Peace"?

The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Pakistan, Turkey, Hungary, Morocco, Kosovo, Armenia, Argentina and Paraguay have accepted Trump's invitation. As have the Central Asian states of Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Uzbekistan, and the Southeast Asian nations of Indonesia and Vietnam.

Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu is also on board, even though he has fumed at the inclusion of Turkish and Qatari officials on the Gaza Executive Board and faces an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court.

Will we look back on this as the birth of a latter day "Axis Powers", but with the U.S. on the wrong side this time around?
It's like he's trying outdo Putin in the list of minor nation allies.

Question: Does anyone think Vance will be able to dominate the news cycle 24/7 the way Dump does? If not, another reason to look forward to the latter dying.

Apart from the use of red and green on the same map, I love the map that shows how many people support or oppose him, not just geographical areas. That table showing almost only orange would've caused some ketchup bottles to fly if it was shownn to him, too.
Florida looks like it’s infected.
.

It would be almost as much work as Blue Mountain's herculean labours to list the positive (!) and negative acts of the administration, but it could become a remarkable record of a terrible time.
Thanks for the shout-out!

The work has been taken up by https://www.trumpactiontracker.info, a UK based site. To date it's logged over 2,300 negative actions by Trump and others in the administration. The list can be sliced, diced, and filtered online by date and any of ten categories of malfeasance, all backed up with links to sites on the web.

For people wanting to take a deeper dive into the dataset, it's available for download as a CSV file. Note that if you want to import it into a spreadsheet, you should first remove the top two lines since they contain non-CSV text that will confuse the spreadsheet's import.

To be fair, it would make much more sense if they were the other way round.
That is something Trump should have understood. Misdescription of some real estate to make it sound more attractive to investors

Scum America. When you twice elect someone who comes out with lie after lie, you lose all respect.

"Donald Trump has sparked fresh outrage in the UK after saying Nato troops stayed "a little off the front lines" during the war in Afghanistan."

US President Donald Trump has withdrawn an invite for Canada to join his newly constituted 'Board of Peace', in the latest spat between the North American neighbours.

"Please let this Letter serve to represent that the Board of Peace is withdrawing its invitation to you regarding Canada's joining," Trump said on Truth Social in a post addressed to Prime Minister Mark Carney, who made headlines this week when he warned of a "rupture" in the US-led global order.

This was mentioned in the ICE thread but I don't think it's being given the attention it needs.

The Whitehouse is posting deliberately altered images of a suspect arrested by the FBI.

The White House posted a digitally altered image of a woman who was arrested on Thursday in a case touted by the US attorney general, Pam Bondi, to make it seem as if she was dramatically crying, a Guardian analysis of the image has found.

The woman, Nekima Levy Armstrong, also appears to have darker skin in the altered image

I posted a reply to this several times as a reply on different threads and it seems to have exploded, people are reposting it all over X
and the reposts are getting reposted!

It's had more likes and reposts than anything I've posted

The one thing the White House is determined not to convey is a photo of a proud, defiant and calm black woman. This sort of deception would have governments in civilised countries struggling to explain. The Trump regime just shrugs.

Notice the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ in Reform and ◊◊◊◊◊ Nigel haven't even mentioned this!

The ◊◊◊◊ has done it again

“Maybe we should have put NATO to the test: Invoked Article 5, and forced NATO to come here and protect our Southern Border from further Invasions of Illegal Immigrants, thus freeing up large numbers of Border Patrol Agents for other tasks.” - President Donald J. Trump
