Remember, for all of those big NATO fans, they were at 2% GDP, and most weren't paying their bills, UNTIL I CAME ALONG. The USA was, foolishly, paying for them! I, respectfully, got them to 5% GDP, AND THEY PAY, immediately. Everyone said that couldn't be done, but it could, because, beyond all else, they are all my friends.

Without my involvement, Russia would have ALL OF UKRAINE right now.

Remember, also, I single-handedly ENDED 8 WARS, and Norway, a NATO Member, foolishly chose not to give me the Noble Peace Prize. But that doesn't matter!

What does matter is that I saved Millions of Lives. RUSSIA AND CHINA HAVE ZERO FEAR OF NATO WITHOUT THE UNITED STATES, AND I DOUBT NATO WOULD BE THERE FOR US IF WE REALLY NEEDED THEM. EVERYONE IS LUCKY THAT I REBUILT OUR MILITARY IN MY FIRST TERM, AND CONTINUE TO DO SO. We will always be there for NATO, even if they won't be there for us. The only Nation that China and Russia fear and respect is the DJT REBUILT U.S.A. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!! President DJT

The third who didn't vote were persuaded by bad information and a well-oiled propaganda campaign that their votes wouldn't matter, that not voting would be an effective protest against policies that were offensive, that voting third party was the only moral choice, and a number of other very sketchy talking points. This led to the election coming out as it did.

First of all, while "only" 23% of Americans actually voted for Trump, many of the non-voters could not vote for practical reasons. (Under age, convicted felon, in a coma, etc.) I see no reason to believe that the proportion of non-voters who would have voted for or against trump would differ significantly from the proportions of actual voters, had they had the opportunity.

Secondly, for those who could have voted in 2024 and chose not to for whatever reason, they are not that much better than the MAGAchud who actually cast their ballot for Trump.

The difference between the candidates was vast. It was not just some minor disagreement on policy; there were clear differences in where each candidate would lead the country, and non-voters should have had enough intelligence and integrity to actually vote.

A voter who thinks "Hmm, I can't decide to vote for a candidate who wants to turn the US fascist or one who let the price of eggs go up so I won't vote" is no friend to democracy.

i don’t think it’s possible to undersell the effectiveness of the right wing propaganda machine. it’s the biggest problem facing any opposition to this techno wizard oligarch fascist pairing. they control so much of the dispersion of information, and really expanded that control in the last year.

upside imo is they are making the entire internet ◊◊◊◊ in the process, maybe people will get sick of it

have to admit it’s a good strategy. if are politicians coordinating with news outlets and oligarchs put their thumbs on the scales of the apps on the smart phones to present that kind of coordination as a vital part of free speech and any critics suffer from the woke mind virus and want to take your speech away, well baby you got a stew going
